Weekend in Anchorage
This bear was totally enjoying his morning and perhaps showing off a bit too.
|
There were three orphaned bear cubs at the zoo. They were really cute to watch play with one another and on their toys. Kaylee got really jealous of their toys though.
|
McKennah & Jessika got this stuffed black bear for Kaylee. She is in love with it. While at lunch, she helped her bear, Kenai, color a picture.

A Few Outings in Juneau
We met Kaylee & Grandma at the park after work one day. Kaylee was so excited to see us and wanted to show us everything there was to do on the playground all at once.
|
Kaylee loves to play catch with her stuffed bear, Kenai.

This girl doesn't want anything to do with well-groomed walking trails, she wants real hiking trails.

A Trip to Skagway
|
|
Tim went up to Skagway for work to fill in because they were short-handed. He recorded the flight from Juneau to Skagway and then sped it up by six times. We love this flight. It is absolutely beautiful. You can see the Juneau icefield and several glaciers.
Part of the dog sledding tour in Skagway.
A Day Off: Hiking, FlightSeeing, Taku Lodge, & Souvenir Shopping
We were able to go on a flight seeing tour to Taku Lodge. It is about a 20 minute flight from downtown Juneau. On the way we saw 5 different glaciers (Norris, Taku, Hole in the Wall, West Twin, & East Twin). Taku glacier is the largest glacier from the Juneau Icefield.

Kaylee loves to climb to the base of trees and has to stop at everyone along the trail.
A Regular Evening
Kaylee thinks it's funny to crawl underneath me when I do my pushups. I guess it's better than her climbing onto my back.
Kaitlyn's Turn to Go to Skagway
Kaylee's Aunties Come to Visit
We told Kaylee it was time to go to sleep. This is what she did.
I realize this is the third salmon video on the page, but I'm amazed at how little water a salmon can swim in. Look at them go. I can't believe what they survive and go through and I'm totally grateful I am not a salmon.
