Kaylee and Dad goofing around
Celebrating Lydia's 3rd birthday
Kaylee got Lydia a little tea set for her birthday. They immediately started playing with it. Lydia only called Kaylee "darling" while they were playing tea party.

One of Kaylee's favorite activities is dancing. Sometimes she choreographs things herself and teaches me some new moves.

One of Kaylee's most awesome dance moves.

Easter
Kaylee and I showed up for the 9:00 am Easter Egg hunt at 9:05 am and it was VERY VERY over. Kaylee handled it pretty well. We sat down on a bench so I could search on my phone for any other egg hunts in the area. As I was searching a couple of kids noticed Kaylee's bucket was empty and started filling it up with treats from their own baskets. Kaylee couldn't stop talking about how those kids made her so happy and shared with her. I think that was better than making it to the Easter Egg Hunt on time.
When we got home, Aunt Hillary was nice enough to set up an Easter Egg Hunt in the back yard for Kaylee, not once, not twice, but three times. |
Toward the end of Easter dinner, Kaylee got up, found some paper and a "pen", and started taking our "orders". It was pretty darn cute. I got some great pretend food to follow up with my real food.

The Aftermath of Easter
This girl's obsession with the nutcracker is still living strong. She loves to watch the ballet on youtube and asks me for (or gives me) a play by play of what is going on. She particularly likes to focus on the mouse king.

The primary's new year's resolution was to learn the Latter-day Prophets Song. I would say Kaylee is doing pretty good with that goal.

Finally Well Enough to Venture Out
What do you do when you find a volleyball pit at the park? Make sand angels of course.
